Metal is highly reflective, which lowers air conditioner loads and utility bills. Metal roofing is also an excellent host material for both thin-film and crystalline solar panels.

Whether utilizing crystalline or thin-film solar technologies, metal roofing systems are an excellent host substrate. The course instructor will provide details about solar and metal roofing integration and will include: solar options including advantages and disadvantages, BIPV solutions, solar attachment methods and appropriate host roofing systems.
