What is Edge Coating?

The cut ends of metal panels expose raw steel to Mother Nature’s elements, also resulting with the appearance of red rust. McElroy Metal provides factory applied edge coating to our Max-Rib and Mesa panels at our Post Frame manufacturing facilities*. McElroy Metal’s edge coating processes applies a clear coat rust inhibitor at panel ends which helps to minimize corrosion.
